How To Bake Strawberry Wine Cakes For Special Occasions
Strawberry wine cakes can be the perfect dessert during special occasions. The unique taste of strawberry wine cakes go well with just about any types of dishes that you have on your table so you need not worry about preparing other desserts to satisfy the taste of your visitors. Since this type of cake is very easy to bake, you will not really have a hard time getting everything together in just a short period of time. This means that you will still have ample time to prepare other things for your visitors and make yourself look great for the party.
Baking Your Strawberry Wine Cake
To bake your strawberry wine cake, you need to get all your ingredients together in one place. You will need 3 oz of strawberry gelatin. Choose a good brand of strawberry gelatin. Check the ingredients used in the gelatin so make sure that you are getting 100% strawberry content. You will need some white cake mix for your strawberry wine cake. Get 18.5 oz of white cake mix. You can just choose whatever brand of white cake mix you like.
The other ingredients that you will need for your strawberry wine cake are eggs, applesauce and strawberry wine. You will need one third cup of applesauce and 1 cup of strawberry wine for your cake. Although there are some people who advice the use of egg substitute, the of fresh farm eggs is still preferable. Use four fresh farm eggs for your cake.
Once you have all your ingredients together, preheat your oven to 325F. Prepare your ingredients. Mix the gelatin and cake mix together with the use of a spatula. Beat your eggs until they become fluffy. Mix the applesauce and the strawberry wine together with your eggs and stir slowly. After mixing all your liquid ingredients, slowly add this mixture into your gelatin and cake mix. Add these ingredients slowly while stirring the mixture slowly with a spatula. Do not just dump everything together in one go. The secret of baking really delicious cakes is in the mixing of the different ingredients. Once all your ingredients are in one bowl, get your cake mixer and start mixing at a low speed until the mixture moisten before you adjust your mixer to a medium speed. You will need to mix your ingredients at medium speed for about 3 minutes.
After mixing your strawberry cake ingredients, put your mixture into a cake pan lined with wax paper or light flour. Bake your strawberry cake for about 40 to 45 minutes.
